Life Without Stirrups

Life Without Stirrups is one of the best equine memoirs I've ever read! Canadian author, Dagny Mofid, shares her story of her life with and without horses. It is well-written and laugh-out-loud funny. The descriptive scenes and life lessons will be enjoyed by horse lovers and non-horse lovers alike, both young and old.

From her beginner riding lessons to her first horse ownership, Dagny learns that horses are both beautiful but challenging creatures. Although her hubby seems to adapt a little better. His job requires them to move across North America several times, and each move provides another search for happiness with horses.

And I love the cover!
